TED.com lift-off!

I’ve long been a fan of ted.com, especially the TED Talks section. Consider a collection of talks by inspirational thinkers, just waiting to be downloaded. Well now they’ve gone and updated the site with a new design and put a whole load more talks on the site.  Hans Rosling (who I’ve blogged about before), Jeff Hahn, Neil Gershenfeld (who I saw speak at Design Indaba) and Charles Leadbeater are some great ones to check out.   I’d love to go to one of these conferences, but it’s quite steep to get in (around $6000) and the 2008 conference is already sold out.  Guess I’ll be following along on the blog like I did this year.  Oh well, there’s always 2009.
